Medical supplies means items for medical use that are suitable for use in a health care facility or in the home and that are disposable or semi-disposable and are non-reusable. Medical assistant means an unlicensed person who meets the Medical means belonging to the study and practice of medicine for the prevention, alleviation or management of a physical or mental defect, illness, or condition. Medical control means a person who provides medical supervision to an emergency medical service provider.

Medical support means either the provision of a health benefit plan, including a group or employment-related or an individual health benefit plan, or a health benefit plan provided pursuant to Iowa Code chapter 514E to meet the medical needs of a dependent and the cost of any premium re- quired by a health benefit plan, or the payment to the obligee of a monetary amount in lieu of a health benefit plan, either of which is an obligation separate from any monetary amount of child support or- dered to be paid. Medical physicist means a person trained in evaluating the performance of mammography equipment and facility quality assurance programs and who meets the qualifications for a medical physicist set forth in 41.6(3)“c.” Medical assistance means so much of the medical, mental health, preventive, supportive, palliative and remedial care and services as may be prescribed by the authority according to the standards established pursuant to ORS 414.065, including premium assistance and payments made for services provided under an insurance or other contractual arrangement and money paid directly to the recipient for the purchase of health services and for services described in ORS 414.710.
The program is also referred to as Medicaid. Medical Assistance Program means the medical assistance provided pursuant to Chapter 319v of the Connecticut General Statutes (CGS) and authorized by Title XIX of the Social Security Act. Medical food means a food that is intended for the dietary treatment of a disease or condition for which nutritional requirements are established by medical evaluation and is formulated to be consumed or administered enterally under the direction of a Practitioner. Medical cannabis means the same as that term is defined in Section 26-61a-102.
